Love’s Travel Stops celebrates coffee and kids for National Coffee Day Sept. 29

If, like many people, you need your daily dose of coffee-bean fueled caffeine to get going you’ll want to mark your calendars because this Friday, Sept. 29, is National Coffee Day.

To celebrate, Love’s Travel Stops will donate sales from all 24 oz. coffees and cappuccinos to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Additionally, in honor of the day, all 24 oz. hot beverages are $1. In the Fort Worth area, donations will go to Cook Children’s Medical Center or Children’s Health Children’s Medical Center.

Professional truck drivers who are My Love Rewards members can use a free drink refill credit on coffee, and Love’s will still donate $1 to CMN Hospitals on their behalf.

If you’re looking to try a new flavor for your coffee-fix, Love’s offers its signature house and decaffeinated coffee brews, as well as the recently added 100 percent Colombian blend, and pumpkin spice and French vanilla cappuccino and hot chocolate are also available.

“Love’s has supported CMN Hospitals for 18 years, and donating money from coffee and cappuccino sales is another way we can keep supporting a great organization while giving Customers something they love,” said Jenny Love Meyer, vice president of communications for Love’s, in a news release. “National Coffee Day falls toward the end of our annual companywide campaign to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals so it’s a perfect opportunity to help more kids in need.”

Since 1999, Love’s has raised more than $18 million for the CMN. The travel stop’s 2017 campaign to raise funds for CMN Hospitals began Aug. 26 and the company is already more than halfway to its $2.6 million goal.
