SanoTech 360 LLC, a provider of innovative, clinically-proven products and services, on Feb. 26 announced that it has finalized an agreement to purchase the assets of EMist Innovations.
This strategic move is a natural development for SanoTech, said SanoTech CEO George Robertson. Robertson was an executive at EMist for several years.
“This new addition to the SanoTech portfolio will allow us to capitalize on the tremendous opportunities in this market,” he said. “For example, in the education vertical alone, when students are absent due to illness, it not only means they’re missing essential learning opportunities, but a school district loses vital funding as well. Estimates show that schools lose approximately $40 per day in funding for every absent student. Using conservative projections, a 100,000-student school district would lose $200,000 a day to a flu outbreak that affects a mere 5% of the student population.
