Sundt Construction’s Fort Worth office has added Tim Flood as project superintendent and Charlie Taylor as a senior project superintendent.

Fort Worth-based Elbit Systems of America LLC has promoted Ted Fordyce to lead the company’s Washington Operations office and serve as the company’s principal representative in the greater Washington, D.C., region. Fordyce is vice president for government relations and has been with the company since 2015.

Burns & McDonnell has named Christine Wood as the Regional Global Facilities group manager in its Dallas-Fort Worth offices.
FOOD AND WINE
American Airlines has teamed up with master sommelier Bobby Stuckey. As the airline’s official wine consultant, he will lead American’s wine program, selecting premium wines in Admirals Club lounges, Flagship Lounges, Flagship First Dining and in flight.
Desmond Echavarrie, master sommelier, will continue to support the airline’s lounge offerings under the guidance of Stuckey.
Stuckey was a sommelier at The Little Nell restaurant in Aspen, Colorado, before joining world-renowned chef Thomas Keller at the French Laundry in Yountville, California, in 2000. During his time at the French Laundry, it received The James Beard Foundation’s awards for Outstanding Restaurant Service and Outstanding Wine Service. Stuckey owns the Italian restaurant Frasca Food and Wine in Boulder, Colorado, and is its wine director.

Ryan Damiano has been promoted to director and made a shareholder at McDonald Sanders, where he has been an associate since 2014.
Damiano’s practice focuses on both transactional and litigation matters, and he represents clients in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, construction and development, debt financing, and leasing.
He also represents ranch owners in oil and gas transactions and deals with surface estate use issues ancillary to mineral development. He has experience in commercial, real estate and oil and gas litigation. He graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2009.
Len A. Wade has joined Jackson Walker as a partner in the firm’s Fort Worth office. He brings to the litigation group a background as a trial lawyer, mediator, arbitrator and judge.
Wade’s practice focuses on complex litigation, mediation and arbitration.
He has been an adjunct professor at the Pepperdine University School of Law. He received an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings and was listed in the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers before his judicial election.
He graduated cum laude from Baylor University Law School.

Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth Inc. has announced the election of three new members to its board of directors: Dianne Hawkins, Catherine Schmuck and Surnedra Simmons.
Hawkins is an instructional leader and special education director for the Fort Worth Independent School District, where she worked closely with Goodwill Fort Worth’s Project SEARCH program. The program provides youth who have significant disabilities with training and career exploration, innovative adaptations and long-term job coaching as they move from high school to the working world.
Schmuck is property manager for Courtney & Courtney Properties and the daughter of longtime Goodwill Fort Worth board member Will A. Courtney Sr. Schmuck is active in organizations including National Charity League, Institute of Real Estate Management and the Junior League of Fort Worth. She received a bachelor’s degree in fashion design and art from Texas Christian University.
Simmons is a school counselor for Southwest High School in the Fort Worth ISD. She is a graduate of Texas Christian University and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., American School Counselors Association, United Educators Association and Lone Star State School Counselor Association. She is a board member for the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Julie A. Young has returned to Crescent Real Estate LLC as general manager of The Crescent, the mixed-use commercial real estate and retail space in Uptown Dallas managed by Crescent and owned by institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Young is a 24-year veteran of the Dallas commercial real estate market and a board member of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Dallas.
Young returns to Crescent after working as associate director at CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) since 2006. At CBRE, she directly managed the 1.2 million-square-foot KBS Realty portfolio and supervised 10 managers responsible for more than 8 million square feet of Class A property in Dallas. Young previously worked for Crescent from 1994 until 2006 as a senior property manager of a 930,000-square-foot Las Colinas portfolio and the 60-story Comerica Bank Tower in Dallas.

ECi Software Solutions has appointed Leslie Bodnar as chief marketing officer.
TRANSPORTATION
American Airlines has named Janelle Anderson as vice president-global marketing. Anderson will lead American’s global marketing efforts, including the development and implementation of brand and marketing strategies. Anderson joins American from PepsiCo.
American also named Peter Warlick as vice president-corporate development and Heather Garboden as vice president-financial planning and analysis. Warlick serves on the boards of directors for American Airlines Federal Credit Union; C.R. Smith Museum, where he is also treasurer; and Answer ALS, where he is finance co-chairman. Warlick founded Aviators Against ALS, a campaign to raise at least $5 million for research into ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
Garboden has led the Women’s Leadership Program at American since 2017.

Bank hosts career day
Southside Bank hosted the Young Men’s Leadership Academy (YMLA) in Fort Worth on March 1 at its North Texas headquarters. The Southside Bank’s “Reverse JA in a Day” event is a partnership between the bank and Junior Achievement of the Chisholm Trail (JA).
More than 15 employees served as teachers, volunteers and panel members for the event. Reverse JA in a Day included four career success sessions, a bank tour and roundtable discussions for 22 students from YMLA.
The career success sessions highlighted topics such as conflict management and the importance of building a personal brand. The students also received a tour of Southside Bank’s University Center location, including the executive floor, mortgage department and a full-service branch.
