Nonprofit Matters: Leadership celebrates

Forty years ago, five organizations – Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, Junior League of Fort Worth, Texas Christian University, Texas Wesleyan University and the University of Texas at Arlington – partnered in a new era of leadership development in the community through the Leadership Fort Worth program. Since then, almost 2,000 individuals and 900 companies/organizations have participated in Leadership Fort Worth’s flagship program. Alumni and members of the current Leadership Class, as well as its youth leadership program Leader Kids and emerging leader program Leading Edge, will gather May 9 at the Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth Hotel for a dinner and program. Special guests for the event will include all of Fort Worth’s living mayors. For information or to purchase tickets, visit www.leadershipfortworth.org.
