Sabre plans expansion in Westlake

Sabre GLBL Inc. will be expanding its headquarters at the Solana development in Westlake with the help of a Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF) grant of $5 million.

In an announcement from Gov. Greg Abbott’s office, the provider of technology infrastructure to airlines and hotels said the expansion is expected to create at least 500 new jobs and bring over $37 million in capital investment.

“Texas is a global destination for world-class enterprises seeking a business-friendly environment,” said Abbott. “I am proud Sabre is continuing to invest in the Lone Star State by expanding their corporate headquarters and creating hundreds of new jobs for hard working Texans. As governor, I will continue to pursue policies that allow companies like Sabre to expand and thrive in the State of Texas.”

Tarrant County Commissioner Gary Fickes said the expansion will help bring new high-level jobs to the area. “An organization like Sabre who has a proven record of community involvement and corporate success is another reason that Westlake and NE Tarrant County has become the premier location to live and work in the Metroplex.”
