Chasing Dreams: Baseball and Becoming American, an exhibit that examines how minorities navigated American culture through the prism of baseball, opened in Fort Worth Jan. 8.
The exhibition celebrates well-known heroes such as Hank Greenberg, Sandy Koufax, Jackie Robinson and Joe DiMaggio who all overcame obstacles to reach success.
It features historic photos, films, and interactive experiences that recreate the Jewish story of our national pastime.
The nationally-acclaimed exhibit, organized by the Philadelphia Museum of American Jewish History, is being presented by the Tarrant County B’nai B’rith Isadore Garsek Lodge.
