Newsmakers: New marketing manager at Williams Trew

REAL ESTATE

Nick Bendian joins the Williams Trew Real Estate brand as marketing manager. He will develop and oversee all marketing strategies for the brand and assist its more than 90 agents in promoting their listings. In addition, Bendian will supervise the work of an in-house designer and a social media coordinator.

BANKING & FINANCE

Bank of America has named Emily Horner Ledet as Dallas-Fort Worth market executive. She leads the local market team and works closely with Dallas and Fort Worth market presidents to connect businesses, families and individuals to the banking and investment teams. Ledet also leads the company’s philanthropic, sponsorship and volunteerism efforts across the markets.

Casey Tibbets has been named president of the Fort Worth market for Guaranty Bank & Trust NA. Tibbets has over 12 years of commercial real estate, commercial and industrial, and SBA 504 loan experience in Tarrant County. Guaranty Bank opened its 28th banking location at 410 W. Seventh Street, Suite 2, in the Historic Electric Building in Fort Worth in January. The bank initially opened a loan production office in September and then received regulatory approval from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to convert the office into a full-service banking location on Dec. 11.

BOARDS & COMMISSIONS

The American Horse Council announced that Jean Ligon, chairwoman of the Coalition of State Horse Councils, and Billy Smith, executive director of the Fort Worth-based American Paint Horse Association, have been selected to the two at-large seats on the AHC’s board of trustees.

HEALTH CARE

David F. Ertel has joined Irving-based health care performance improvement company Vizient Inc. as chief financial officer. Ertel will have responsibility for financial planning and analysis, accounting and audit services.

LAW

Phelps Dunbar LLP’s Dallas-Fort Worth area office added two labor and employment attorneys to its regional roster. Partner Claudine Jackson and associate Andrea Paris have joined the firm’s local office, located in Southlake. Phelps was founded in 1853 and has more than 275 attorneys practicing in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina and Florida as well as in London.

James M. Bridge has rejoined Bailey & Galyen as chief operating officer. Bridge was previously with Bailey & Galyen from 1998 to 2002. He was previously with the firm of Loncar Associates, where he managed various offices, most recently in Tarrant County.
