Fort Worth Can Academies recently hosted its annual Texans Can Academy – Fort Worth Cares for Kids Golf Classic at Mira Vista Country Club.

All proceeds were dedicated to support the Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) programs at Texans Can Academy – Fort Worth Lancaster and Texans Can Academy – Fort Worth Westcreek.

Sponsorships ranging from Presenting Sponsors to Individual Players were available. Participants were able to enter various competitions held in conjunction with the tournament for prizes, including longest drive, closest to the pin and hole-in-one.

“The Texans Can Academy – Fort Worth Cares for Kids Golf Classic is an important fundraising effort for our two Fort Worth campuses,” said Richard Marquez, president and CEO of Texans Can Academies. “We are thrilled that our tournament has become an event to look forward to and humbled by the commitment and support to our students from our sponsors and players.”

Texans Can Academy – Fort Worth are free, open-enrollment dropout recovery schools that welcome all students ages 14-21, who have struggled in a traditional high school setting.
