The Final Round concerto performances of t he Cliburn Competition are taking place in Fort Worth, of course, but if you have others outside the area interested, the Final Round will be broadcast live in 300 movie theaters across the U.S.

The one-day event will highlight the final six competitors in concert with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and Maestro Leonard Slatkin. The program will begin with a delayed broadcast of Friday evening’s performances, leading into a live presentation of Saturday’s performances. The broadcast begins at noon CT /11 a.m. MT on Saturday, June 10, and will run five and a half hours. It will include a live interview with Slatkin by Elliott Forrest of WQXR-FM, New York City’s classical station.

The Cliburn Competition’s national cinema debut is made possible through a partnership with Fathom Events. Tickets can be purchased online by visiting www.FathomEvents.com or in person at participating theater box offices. Fans throughout the U.S. will be able to enjoy the event in more than 300 select movie theaters through Fathom’s Digital Broadcast Network (DBN).
