On June 14, D.R. Horton Inc. (NYSE: DHI), has relocated its corporate headquarters to Arlington from Fort Worth.
Today, the D.R. Horton sign came down from the 38-story glass tower that has been its home since 2004.
Bank of America will expand its presence in downtown Fort Worth after announcing plans to consolidate and expand its offices into the space being vacated by D.R. Horton.
Bank of America will lease three full floors – 18, 21 and 24 – of commercial space in Sundance Square Tower 2 with additional plans to open a 4,000-square-foot financial center on the ground floor. That tower will also be renamed Bank of America Tower in Sundance Square.
Bank of America’s existing Merrill Lynch operations, currently located in the Wells Fargo Tower, will move to the new location, along with Bank of America’s business banking, global banking and market teams from the current Bank of America site at 500 W. Seventh St.
The building was built in 1984 by Linbeck Construction Company and designed by New York architect Paul Rudolph.
D.R. Horton’s new six-acre campus features a four-story office building and connected parking garage and is located along the Interstate 30 corridor.
D.R. Horton’s new address effective immediately is 1341 Horton Circle, Arlington, 76011. Founded in 1978 in Fort Worth, D.R. Horton has operations in 78 markets in 26 states across the United States and closed 43,075 homes in the twelve-month period ended March 31, 2017.
