The Irving Music Factory’s Pavilion, the new Live Nation performance venue, which was scheduled to have its grand opening this weekend with Dave Chappelle, has delayed the opening of the venue.
The opening has been pushed back to Sept. 9 because of delays with construction, according to Live Nation, the company developing the project.
Chappelle’s two shows have been rescheduled for Oct. 26 and 27 and tickets already purchased will be valid for those dates. The opening on Saturday Sept. 9 will be with headliners ZZ Top.
The Irving Music Factory is a 410,000 square feet, 16.7 acre, and entertainment complex located in the Las Colinas area of Irving.
The Pavilion has a capacity of 8,000
