The city of Mansfield says the developers of The Shops at Broad and Flix Brewhouse have officially confirmed that the company’s dine-in, microbrewery movie theater will be the entertainment anchor at the new Mansfield shopping and lifestyle center being built at U.S. 287 and East Broad Street.
According to a Facebook post from the city, Round Rock-based Flix will operate a 35,000 square-foot, eight-screen theater with state-of-the-art digital audio and video, reclining seats and dine-in service for moviegoers. The upscale cinema is expected to open by summer of 2018.
Flix Brewhouse has several locations, including in Round Rock. A Flix Brewhouse is set to open in Little Elm this winter.
