If you were at Hulen Mall on Friday, Nov. 3, you might have thought you’ve mistakenly walked into the TARDIS and ended up at a comic con. But no, you were just at the grand opening of Fort Worth’s first ThinkGeek retail outlet.
The retailer hosted a grand opening event Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to celebrate the opening.
ThinkGeek seels novelty items from Star Wars, Harry Potter, Star Trek, Zelda, DC Comics, Game of Thrones, Marvel, Geek labs, super heroes and other items that are, were or will be worshipped by geeks.
ThinkGeek is based in Fairfax, Virginia and owned by Geeknet, a unit of Grapevine-based GameStop. ThinkGeek opened its first retail store in 2015 and now has 31 locations.
