Parc GSW promises Irving 683,000 square feet of industrial space when it opens later this year.
Irving is the location for a newly announced industrial park under development by Jackson-Shaw and real estate manager Clarion Partners.
When open in fourth quarter 2016, Parc GSW will offer 683,000 square feet of industrial space in the 7,000-acre Great Southwest Industrial District. The 50-acre, 682,491-square-foot development will feature two buildings for users requiring spaces from 100,000 square feet to 682,491 square feet.
“Opportunities for development are limited in GSW [the Great Southwest district], and we believe this is an appropriate time to develop an industrial park between two major urban areas,” said Jason Nunley, vice president of development of Jackson-Shaw, a Dallas-based real estate development firm, commenting in a news release.
Brett Owens, John Brewer and Ben Phillips of Transwestern will lease the property to industrial users.
The first building, known as Building A, will feature 450,800 square feet and offer 36-foot clear heights, 255 parking spaces, 96 dock-high doors, 185-foot truck court and two drive-in doors, among other features. Building B will offer 232,500 square feet with 32-foot clear heights, 109 parking spaces, 38 dock-high doors and a front-load configuration.
