A total of $50,000 in cash and in-kind services is up for grabs in the 6th annual Business Plan Competition, sponsored by the Fort Worth Business Assistance Center (BAC) and Capital One Bank.
Applications for the competition, are now being accepted. The deadline to apply is July 11.
Participants will be judged on how well they develop a business plan or enhance an existing plan that will reflect improvement in their market competitiveness and increase their revenue.
Twenty-five semi-finalists will be selected from the entries by a panel of industry experts. They will be provided one-on-one counseling, attend professional development workshops and receive coaching from BAC and its partners, including the Tarrant Small Business Development Center and SCORE.
Ten businesses will be chosen to compete in October during a Pitch Night before judges. The top three finalists will compete for the prize packages, which include $6,000 in cash for first place, $4,000 for second and $2,000 for third.
