IRVING, Texas (AP) â Retail gasoline prices across Texas remain the same for the third straight week with the average price at the pump holding at $2.22 per gallon.
AAA Texas on Thursday reports the average price is $1.20 less than this time last year.
Retail prices across the country also stayed the same, coming in for a second week at $2.40 a gallon.
The association survey found that drivers in Beaumont are paying the least at $2.13 a gallon, while those in Dallas are paying the most at $2.33.

AAA Texas says the price at the pump continues to reflect seasonal price fluctuations as refineries complete scheduled maintenance and prepare for the summer driving season.
