Fort Worth-based energy firm files for bankruptcy

Fort Worth-based Duer Wagner III Oil & Gas LP has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

The company, located at 301 Commerce St., Suite 1830, filed on May 15.

Shannon, Gracey, Ratliff & Miller LLP represents the company, which filed in the federal bankruptcy court in Fort Worth.

Like another Fort Worth energy company that filed for bankruptcy in March, Quicksilver Resources, Duer Wagner cited falling energy prices for its current financing issues.

The case number is: 4:15-bk-41961.
