| Additional Details: | Feed Your Pink Side Luncheon – October 29 @ noon – TCU’s Brown-Lupton University Union Ballroom TCU’s annual breast cancer awareness luncheon, Feed Your Pink Side, is taking place on Wednesday, October 29, from noon-1:30 p.m. at TCU’s Brown-Lupton University Union Ballroom, located at 2901 Stadium Drive in Fort Worth. Former first lady Laura Bush will serve as the luncheon’s guest speaker; Nancy Brinker, founder of Susan G. Komen, will serve as the luncheon’s guest of honor; and CBS News’ “Face The Nation” host Bob Schieffer will serve as emcee. All proceeds from the luncheon will benefit TCU’s Frogs For The Cure. Recommended attire is pink. Ticket prices are tax-deducible and range from $1,500 (individual) – $5,000 (table of 10). They can be purchased via email at frogsforthecure@gmail.com, by phone at 817-257-7254, or in-person at TCU’s Barnes & Noble Student Bookstore. Students and TCU faculty/staff can also enter drawings at the TCU Bookstore on Fridays at noon on October 3, 10, 17 and 24, where 12 student tickets and 12 faculty/staff tickets will be given away each week.
