Fort Worth Inc. magazine has acquired the distinguished 40 Under 40 awards program from the Fort Worth Business Press, marking a significant milestone in both publications’ histories. The 40 Under 40 program has been a cornerstone for recognizing exceptional talent and leadership in the Fort Worth business community for 37 years.
“We are thrilled to bring the esteemed 40 Under 40 program into the Fort Worth Inc. family,” Hal Brown, founder and CEO of Fort Worth Inc. magazine, said in a news release. “This acquisition aligns very well with our charge to celebrate and showcase the brightest and most innovative young leaders shaping the future of Fort Worth’s business landscape.”
Fort Worth Inc. magazine, founded in 2015 by parent company Panther City Media Group, is a business magazine serving C-level business executives throughout Greater Fort Worth.
With Fort Worth Inc. magazine’s expertise and reach, Brown said, the program is poised to reach new heights and continue its tradition of recognizing outstanding individuals under the age of 40 who are making significant contributions to the region. The program is known for its rigorous selection process and has become a prestigious honor within the business community.
“After almost 40 years of recognizing literally hundreds of Tarrant County residents for their accomplishments achieved under the age of 40, it’s time for the Business Press to pass on the honor of giving out these awards to a new entity,” said Richard L. Connor, president and publisher of the Business Press. “We feel there is no media company more worthy of this than Panther City Media Group and Fort Worth Inc. magazine.
“We are now at the point where we are recognizing young people who are literally the grandchildren of previous recipients. It’s just time to pass the torch to a younger generation of publishers.”
