Sprouts Farmers Market will cut the ribbon for its new store in North Fort Worth at 6:45 a.m. Friday and the doors will open to shoppers at 7 a.m.
The new store at 4525 W. Bailey Boswell Road will be open daily from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m.
The first 100 shoppers at the store on Friday and Saturday (June 28-29) will receive a free “Goodness It’s Free” reusable goodie bag filled with special products and samples, Sprouts said in a news release. The first 400 shoppers on Friday will receive a free long stem rose courtesy of Falcon Farms Floral.
“I love the Sprouts on Camp Bowie Boulevard and you can find me shopping there just about every week so I am excited to welcome another Sprouts Farmers Market to Fort Worth,” said Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker. “In addition to bringing healthy grocery options to enhance the quality of life for residents, Sprouts also creates valuable job opportunities and builds on the thriving business environment in our fast-growing city.”
The store’s grand opening weekend Friday through Sunday will feature a variety of activities, including a “pop-up party” that will allow guests the chance to taste seasonal produce from the tasting bar and participate in a “guess the weight” contest of an oversized piece of produce. Inside the store, shoppers will be invited to taste new products and innovative brands at the Vendor Village.
Giveaways and music will add to the festivities throughout the weekend.
Shoppers who sign up on the store’s webpage by midnight June 30 will have a chance to win a $500 Sprouts gift card. Customers who text “WORTH” to 777-688 will receive 20% off their purchase during grand opening weekend when they scan their app account barcode at checkout (up to two redemptions per Sprouts account per day).
Sprouts Farmers Market works with local Texas farmers South Tex Organics, Trueharvest Farms, Little Bear Produce and others to source local produce, the news release said. Through Sprouts’ Food Rescue program, the new Fort Worth store will donate groceries that are no longer fit for sale but remain edible and nutrient rich to Tarrant Area Food Bank.
Phoenix-based Sprouts operates 400 stores in 23 states and bills itself as one of the largest and fastest growing specialty retailers of fresh, natural and organic food in the United States. More information is available on the Sprouts website.
