UWTC Welcomes New Marketing Director

— United Way of Tarrant County (UWTC) today
announced Dana Fairbanks as its new director of marketing. In this role, Fairbanks will
lead efforts to advance UWTC’s mission through strategic marketing and
communications, fostering deeper community engagement and driving impact
across Tarrant County.
Fairbanks brings extensive expertise in marketing and advertising. Most recently, as
director of marketing and brand management at the Grapevine Convention and
Visitors Bureau, she instituted programs that increased visitation to promoted events
by 20-30% year over year. Her digital accomplishments included securing a Google
Ad Grant and significantly increasing the organization’s leverage of digital marketing
tools.
“Dana’s innovative approach to marketing will elevate the way we share the story of
our work at United Way of Tarrant County,” said Deanna W. Titzler, executive vice
president and chief communications and marketing officer at UWTC. “We look
forward to seeing how her efforts will inspire even more people to get involved.”
As director of marketing, Fairbanks will oversee campaigns, sponsorships, website
management and advertising while strengthening relationships within the organization
and across the community to support UWTC’s mission.
“I’m delighted to join the talented United Way of Tarrant County team,” said
Fairbanks. “Their work is instrumental to improving the lives of so many in the region,
and I can’t wait to help create a difference.
Fairbanks holds an MBA with high honors from Thunderbird Graduate School of Global
Management in Arizona and a B.A. with honors from the University of Virginia in
Charlottesville.
