Tarrant County Public Health on July 30 reported eight COVID-19 deaths.
The deceased include a man in his 80s from White Settlement, a woman in her 70s, two men in their 40s, a man in his 70s and two men in their 80s, all from Fort Worth and a woman in her 90s from Arlington. All had underlying health conditions.
Tarrant County now has 363 confirmed deaths from the COVID-19 virus. 13,648 people have recovered.
Denton County Public Health (DCPH) on Thursday announced 188 new laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Denton County. This increases the cumulative, countywide total to 6,681 confirmed COVID-19 cases. DCPH also reported 107 newly recovered cases of COVID-19, increasing the countywide recovery total to 3,588.
