Save the Date: Fourth Annual Race on Race Street hosted by PT Fitness Returns this Fall

Registration is now open for the Oct. 11 event in Fort Worth’s Riverside neighborhood

It’s time to lace up your running shoes and start training. The fourth annual Race on Race Street sponsored by Rebuild Texas is just four months away! Registration is now open for the one mile fun run, 5K, 10K, half marathon, as well as the new 5k ruck run. The race will be held on Oct. 11 in the Riverside district of east Fort Worth. “The Race on Race Street isn’t just about setting personal bests. It’s about neighbors, families and businesses coming together to celebrate Riverside’s vibrant spirit and beautiful scenery,” said Ron Green, health and wellness coach, and owner of PT Fitness. “Whether you’re sprinting toward the finish line or cheering from the side, this race proves that fitness and community go hand in hand.”

The route takes runners from Race Street to the picturesque Trinity River, with a clear view of downtown Fort Worth. The race follows the river through the east side of the city, with serene views of wildlife and greenery. Before and after the race, participants will have the chance to visit with local businesses and nonprofit organizations in “vendor alley.” Boutiques, restaurants and a coffee shop on Race Street will also be open to explore. “In previous years, we’ve had runners travel from as far away as Boston and Austria to run the Race on Race Street,” said Green. “It’s a testament to the beauty of east Fort Worth – from the scenic Trinity River and downtown skyline to the warm hospitality of the Riverside community.” The Race on Race Street will also serve as a fundraiser for Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
