KAI Adds Design Manager Aditi Sridhar and Project Architect Seme Gizaw in Dallas-Fort Worth Office

KAI continues to expand its design team in Dallas-Fort Worth with the additions of Aditi Sridhar, Assoc. AIA, as Design Manager and Seme Gizaw, AIA, as Project Architect. Since joining KAI, both professionals have become key contributors to the firm’s growing architectural presence in Texas, helping to deliver thoughtful, client-centered design solutions across a range of markets.

Sridhar brings more than eight years of experience in the architecture and design industry, with a diverse portfolio that spans hospitality, education, corporate interiors, healthcare, retail and food service. She specializes in ground-up construction, interior build-outs and renovations.

Prior to KAI, she held roles as Job Captain at HBC Architects and Project Manager at MKDA in New York, where she honed her skills in construction documentation, 3D rendering, project management and software integration. Her recent work has focused on corporate interiors in New York and public-school projects throughout the DFW Metroplex.

Her project highlights include Peloton warehouse and retail locations nationwide; Northwell Health interior build-outs across New York and New Jersey; corporate offices for URI, BarkBox and Haven in Manhattan; and retail and restaurant projects for Starbucks, Shake Shack, Din Tai Fung and Chick-fil-A.

“We are delighted to have Aditi Sridhar join KAI Design in our DFW office,” said KAI Managing Partner Brad Simmons, FAIA. “She has quickly become a valued member of our architecture studio in her role as Design Manager. Aditi brings a solid baseline of technical experience with a range of projects that align nicely with KAI’s core market portfolio and mission. We believe she is well positioned to continue to grow as a manager and leader at KAI.”

Sridhar holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the New York Institute of Technology, where she first cultivated her passion for designing innovative and functional spaces.

Gizaw is an accomplished architect with eight years of experience in industrial, office and education design, as well as urban planning. Her design approach is informed by a global perspective and creative curiosity, shaped in part by her interests in travel and photography.

As Project Architect, she plays a critical role in leading the design process and ensuring that projects meet the highest standards for quality, coordination, and technical execution—always balancing design intent with budget, schedule, and client needs.
