FORT WORTH – Locally based Cummings Electrical LP will relocate and expand its headquarters to Centreport Tech Center, signing a 66,882-sf full-building lease with a 10-year term and $4 million renovation plan.
Cummings Electrical will occupy 14770 Trinity Blvd. in Fort Worth, one of two buildings in Centreport Tech Center. If all goes as planned, construction on the retrofit will be completed in the fall.
Jason Finch and Erik Blais, senior vice presidents at Dallas-based Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services, and Michael W. Spain, executive vice president and managing partner, represented the landlord, Fort Capital LP, which is sharing the upgrade cost with the tenant.
“Cummings Electrical is making a large investment in the property, which shows its commitment to the Centreport area,” Finch says. “Being a full-building lease with that long of a term made it a winning deal for the landlord.”
Cummings Electrical has three locations in North Texas and one in Houston. Its current headquarters is 1.4 miles from the now fully leased Centreport Tech Center.

Bradford’s brokerage team was developing plans with the landlord to multi-tenant the Centreport building, which was vacated in January, when Cummings Electrical inquired about it. Two months later, a signed lease was in hand.
“Centreport Tech Center is an exceptionally well-located project. Bradford was able to get it fully leased again,” Finch says, “and we did it within six months.”
Centreport Tech Center, totaling 134,792 sf, is set on 15.3 acres in a 1,300-acre master-planned business park located midway between the downtowns of Dallas and Fort Worth. Developed in 1999 and renovated in 2020, the project is accessible to seven freeways and five minutes from DFW International Airport.
