Special Strong, a specialty fitness provider for individuals with mental, physical, and cognitive challenges, is proud to announce the grand opening of its Fort Worth franchise, owned and operated by Tomi and Mandy Sweet. A special event will be held on Saturday, September 13, from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Rockwood GO-Karts and Mini Golf, 700 N University Dr., Fort Worth, TX 76114.
“We’ve put together a day that truly honors the strength, spirit, and joy of Fort Worth’s adaptive community.,” said Mandy Sweet. “This cowboy & cowgirl themed event provides a safe environment for families to enjoy time together. Costumes are optional, and we look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday, September 13th.”
Special Strong was founded in 2016 by Daniel Stein, who began specializing in health and fitness for people with special needs after being diagnosed with a learning disability, mood disorder, and autoimmune disease. The chain provides adaptive and inclusive fitness programs to people all over the world with mental, physical, and cognitive challenges, including Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, rare genetic conditions, and more.
