CornerStone Capital Bank SSB’s Greg Jackson Holds Leadership Position with Largest State Community Banking Association in the Nation
The Independent Bankers Association of Texas (IBAT) is proud to announce the addition of Greg Jackson, Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer at Cornerstone Capital Bank, SSB, to its board of directors for a three-year term of 2025-28. Jackson was elected to this position during the association’s 51st annual convention held September 20-23 in Fort Worth.
With more than 35 years in financial services, Jackson has led residential mortgage and commercial lending teams, built and deployed business strategies, and developed credit policies and risk rating methodologies. His experience spans a wide range of asset classes, including corporate and middle market, commercial and residential real estate, warehouse lending, senior housing, and energy lending.
At Cornerstone, Jackson oversees the bank’s lending operations and plays a central role in advancing its mission to unite the strengths of legacy institutions with innovative, client-focused solutions. He has also been instrumental in the successful integration of Cornerstone Home Lending and Roscoe Bank, helping establish a well-capitalized, full-service financial institution. Jackson holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Louisiana State University and is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking.
In his role on the IBAT board, Sedlock joins new directors Aaron Flencher of Citizens State Bank in Somerville, Wade Easley of First National Bank in Hereford, Blain Rumage of Jacksboro National Bank, Ralph Riddel III of The First National Bank of Aspermont, Les Robbins of Avana Bank in Abilene, and Leslie Sedlock of The First National Bank of Eagle Lake.
