Ribbon Cutting Marks Texan Outfitters Grand Opening at Tarleton State

Texan Outfitters, Tarleton State University’s reimagined campus store now located on the bottom floor of the parking garage at 1875 W. Washington St., celebrated its official grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday, Jan. 15. The new store, adjacent to the Buffalo Wild Wings, succeeds the former Texans Campus Store and offers an expanded retail experience with an even greater selection of official spirit gear, apparel, gifts and academic resources for students, faculty, staff, alumni and supporters. Featured premium brands include Horn Legend®, Kendra Scott®, Nike® and Bison Coolers™. Academic resources include textbooks, commencement regalia, course materials and supplies.

Hours are 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 12-5 p.m. Sunday. Customer parking is available in Lots P41 and 44, with access to the Washington Street garage permitted after 5 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends. The former Texans Campus Store in the Barry B. Thompson Student Center closed Dec. 12, 2025.
