FORT WORTH, TEXAS (February 9, 2026) – Goodwill North Central Texas announced today that its new Weatherford Job Resource Center is now open to the public. A grand opening ribbon-cutting will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 13, offering attendees the chance to tour the space and network with Goodwill staff and community partners. The center expands access to free education, training and job placement services for job seekers in Parker County. Located at 1801 S. Main St., Weatherford, TX 76086, the Weatherford Job Resource Center strengthens Goodwill North Central Texas’ workforce development footprint and provides local residents with personalized support to pursue meaningful and long-term career success.
“This expansion reflects our commitment to meeting people where they are and ensuring job seekers in Parker County have access to the tools, training and encouragement they need to succeed,” said Romney Guy, Vice President of Workforce Development. “By opening this Job Resource Center in Weatherford, we’re investing directly in the strength of this community and helping individuals build confidence, independence and opportunity through work.”

Each Goodwill Job Resource Center offers job seekers the following services at no cost:
· Free computer and internet access
· Assistance from job search experts providing job placement services
· One-on-one career counseling
· Employer networking opportunities
· Job readiness skills training, including resume writing, interviewing skills and job search techniques
· Referrals to additional programs and resources, including Texas Workforce Commission/Vocational Rehabilitation Services, VetWorthy (veteran support services), ReLaunch (formerly incarcerated) and Goodwill Works (services for individuals experiencing homelessness), for those who are eligible
