Worthington Bank Welcomes New Arlington Market President and Chief Lending Officer

Worthington Bank is pleased to announce the hiring of Brian Compton as Arlington Market President and Mark Evans as Chief Lending Officer. Evans will assume his role following the reXrement of the bank’s current CLO, Dan Mocio.

Before joining Worthington Bank, Brian Compton spent two decades in the industry, moving from Branch
Manager to Commercial Lender, and then into Regional and Market Leadership roles. Prior to banking, he
served as a Captain in the U.S. Army, Infantry. He has a Business Management degree from the University of
Tampa and adended the ABA/Stonier Graduate School of Banking. Compton is a father of three and enjoys
Xme spent in the great outdoors.
Mark Evans has spent more than 40 years in lending and execuXve management roles with banks in both
Louisiana and Texas. His leadership, underwriXng and relaXonship building skills have made him an asset and
propelled his growth in the industry. Evans earned his B.B.A. in Finance at Baylor University and is also a
graduate of the Southwest Graduate School of Banking at SMU. A Baylor Bear to the core, he never misses an
opportunity to cheer for his team.
