CASA MANANA NAMING KATHERINE CURTIS AS VICE-PRESIDENT OF MARKETING

Casa Mañana is pleased to announce the appointment of Katherine Curtis as Vice President of Marketing. A Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) with more than 25 years of experience in strategic marketing, communications, and fundraising, Katherine brings a proven record of elevating brand visibility, building nonprofit reputation through storytelling, and forging mission-driven community partnerships.

“We are very excited to welcome Katherine Curtis to the Casa Mañana staff as the VP of Marketing,” said Wally Jones, President and Executive Producer. “She brings a wealth of community knowledge to the team. She is very well respected in Fort Worth and we look forward to her making a considerable contribution.”

Katherine’s career spans a diverse range of nonprofit sectors — including museums, healthcare, social services, and volunteer programs — with work across Memphis, TN, and the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

“I am thrilled to bring my nonprofit experience to the arts world at Casa Mañana,” said Curtis. “Having grown up attending live theatre, to now have the opportunity to work directly alongside the teams that bring these shows to life is a dream come true.”

A Memphis native, Katherine first came to Fort Worth as a student at Texas Christian University, graduating in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism. She later earned her MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2009. After a brief return to Memphis, she came back to Fort Worth in 2004 — a city she has called home ever since.

Katherine is deeply committed to the Fort Worth community. She currently serves on the board of Laundry Love Fort Worth, as a Fort Worth advisory council member of The Salvation Army North Texas, and as an ambassador for Trinity Habitat for Humanity. She is also a member of Leadership Fort Worth Alumni Association, Junior League of Fort Worth, Association of Fundraising Professionals, and the Public Relations Society of America.

Katherine and her husband, Ray, a Fort Worth native, have one son, Josh, who attends Brewer High School. While not working or serving the community, Katherine can be found at a concert or on a soccer field playing the part of team manager and soccer mom for her son’s club team.
