Munck Wilson Mandala, LLP is pleased to announce that veteran legal and business executive Quintin Cassady has joined the firm as a partner and will lead the launch of the firm’s new Fort Worth office. Cassady brings more than three decades of experience advising global pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and consumer product companies on complex litigation, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property strategy, compliance, and corporate growth initiatives.
An internationally recognized legal and compliance leader, Cassady has guided more than 30 mergers, acquisitions, and licensing transactions involving products and businesses generating more than $10 billion in global revenue. He also has extensive experience managing high-stakes intellectual property and pharmaceutical litigation, including more than 50 successful patent litigation matters and multiple inter partes review proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
“Fort Worth is the 10th largest economy in the country and home to all that makes Texas great. It is a privilege for our firm to open an office there,” said William A. Munck, global managing partner of Munck Wilson Mandala. “Fort Worth is a tight-knit community, and we would only plant a flag there alongside a deeply respected member of that community. Quintin has deep ties and roots in Fort Worth, and his standing, relationships, and decades of leadership make him exactly the right partner to lead our new office.”
Over a distinguished career, Cassady spent more than two decades at Galderma Laboratories in Fort Worth, where he served as Vice President, General Counsel & Compliance Officer for North America, guiding legal and compliance strategy for a global portfolio of products spanning dermatology, injectable aesthetics, and consumer health.
During his tenure, he led significant pharmaceutical and intellectual property litigation matters protecting billions of dollars in product sales, directed major acquisitions and divestitures, and played a central role in numerous high-value transactions involving leading dermatology and aesthetic brands.
Most recently, Cassady served as Vice President and General Counsel for Modern Meadow, a highly regarded New Jersey-based biotech company, during a critical period of growth where he managed legal strategy across fundraising, licensing, joint ventures, intellectual property, employment, regulatory matters, ESG initiatives, and corporate governance while serving on the company’s senior leadership team.
Throughout his career, Cassady has advised companies on product commercialization strategies, regulatory and reimbursement matters, compliance frameworks, corporate governance, patent strategy, litigation management, and post-acquisition integration.
“Fort Worth has become one of the most dynamic business markets in the country, attracting innovators, investors, and companies building transformative technologies and products,” said Cassady. “Munck Wilson Mandala has established a strong reputation for serving entrepreneurs, growth-stage companies, and industry leaders, and I’m excited to help expand the firm’s presence in Fort Worth while supporting clients navigating complex business and legal challenges.”
An Oklahoma native who has resided in Fort Worth for over 30 years, Cassady has long been an active civic leader in the region. He currently serves as board chair of the University of North Texas Health Science Center Foundation and is a 30-year-plus member of Colonial Country Club. His commitment to the Fort Worth community makes him an ideal choice to establish and lead the firm’s presence in the city.
The opening of the Fort Worth office reflects Munck Wilson Mandala’s continued growth and investment in Texas’ expanding innovation economy, particularly within life sciences, AI, technology, manufacturing, and emerging industries.
Cassady will focus his practice on strategic business counseling, life sciences, intellectual property strategies, complex commercial transactions, compliance, regulatory strategy, and litigation management for clients ranging from startups to multinational corporations.
Cassady earned his JD from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oklahoma. He is admitted to practice in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Jersey.
