The Business Court of Texas Eighth Division has rendered the final judgement in the Crain vs Northern dispute. At its core, this dispute centers on Mr. Northern’s alleged exclusion of Mr. Crain from a significant and potentially lucrative business venture; one that, according to the Petition, was advanced through the improper use of the Northern Crain companies’ confidential information, resources, and personnel. After having considered the record, including the Court’s interlocutory dispositive orders incorporated herein by reference, the Court enters this Final Judgment consistent with its findings in favor of William Northern.
In July 2025 Northern stated, “We are disappointed by the recent lawsuit filed by Michael Crain, which is not only meritless but appears to be a calculated attempt to weaponize the legal system for personal gain.” After the recent court ruling, Northern says,” I’m looking forward to rebranding back to Northern Realty Group and providing the exceptional customer service we’ve always delivered since opening in 2010. Crescendo Development has a bright future as well. I look forward to projects beyond Woodhaven and to playing a role in shaping Fort Worth’s future.”
