Acme Brick Company Recognized Seven Times by Newsweek as One of America’s Greatest Workplaces

The publisher Newsweek has named Acme Brick Company to seven separate rankings of “America’s Greatest Workplaces” in 2026.

The company received a four-star rating (out of five) in the overall category of America’s Greatest Workplaces. Acme also attained recognition in the following categories:

  • America’s Greatest Workplaces for Parents and Families (Acme’s rating: 4 stars) “create environments where people can thrive both at work and at home, reflecting the growing connection between career success and family well-being.”
  • America’s Greatest Workplaces for Leadership (4 stars) “create cultures rooted in trust, accountability, inclusion and opportunity.”
  • America’s Greatest Workplaces in Manufacturing (4 stars) “are blending advanced technology with people-first practices, strengthening supply chains while fostering loyalty, improving performance, and positioning themselves for long-term success in a competitive, fast-changing industry.”
  • America’s Greatest Workplaces for Trust (5 stars) selects employers “based on their commitment to a culture of integrity and transparency, ensuring equitable treatment, safety, and respect for every employee.”
  • America’s Greatest Workplaces for Perks and Benefits (5 stars) “are moving beyond the pool tables and free snacks of yesteryear to address the holistic needs of a modern, fragmented workforce.”
  • America’s Greatest Workplaces for Mental Well-Being (4½ stars) “are pivoting from generic wellness apps to holistic support systems that prioritize psychological safety and cognitive health in a high-speed digital era.”

Millions of Data Points Newsweek and its data partners conducted a nationwide survey between April and October 2025 – interviewing more than 179,000 employees and collecting more than 2.7 million company reviews. Online access panels and anonymous interviews rounded out the process, to ensure an impartial evaluation of employers.

Also Recognized by Forbes These rankings follow recognition earlier this year from the publisher Forbes, which named Acme to its 11th annual America’s Best Midsize Employers, in February;  its 9th annual America’s Best Employers for New Grads, in May; and its 9th annual America’s Best Employers for Women, in August. This year marked Acme’s second straight appearance on the Best Midsize Employers list.
