FORT WORTH, TX (October 8, 2026) – Omni Fort Worth Hotel is pleased to introduce an expanded culinary leadership team with the appointment of Cynthia Romstadt as Executive Chef and Corey BeCoats as Executive Sous Chef, alongside the recent promotions of Radames Garcia to Banquet Chef and Minh On to Chef de Cuisine. Together, these culinary leaders bring extensive experience, creativity and local expertise to further elevate dining across the hotel’s restaurants, banquets and special events.
Leading the team is Cynthia Romstadt, an award-winning culinary leader with more than 15 years of experience overseeing premier hospitality, resort and private club dining operations. Most recently, Romstadt served as Executive Chef at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, where she directed culinary operations across multiple dining venues, led culinary programming during a significant food and beverage renovation and oversaw hospitality for the renowned Charles Schwab Challenge PGA TOUR tournament.
Nationally recognized for her leadership and innovation, Romstadt has been honored as one of
Club + Resort Business’ 40 Under 40 and named among BoardRoom Magazine’s Top 30 Female Leaders. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for elevating culinary programs, mentoring future hospitality leaders and creating memorable guest experiences through thoughtful, ingredient-driven cuisine.
“I am thrilled to join Omni Fort Worth Hotel and become part of such an iconic property in the heart of Fort Worth,” said Romstadt. “For me, hospitality is about creating meaningful experiences that guests remember long after they’ve left the table. I look forward to collaborating with this talented team, celebrating the flavors of our region and continuing to elevate the culinary experiences we offer our guests and community.”
Raised in the mountains of Western North Carolina, Romstadt’s passion for cooking began in her grandmother’s kitchen and evolved into a career rooted in seasonality, craftsmanship and hospitality. Her leadership philosophy centers on developing culinary talent, fostering collaboration and creating memorable experiences that leave guests feeling genuinely cared for.
Joining Romstadt is Corey BeCoats as Executive Sous Chef. In his role, BeCoats serves as the operational leader of the culinary department and partner to the Executive Chef, overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations and supporting execution across the hotel’s food and beverage outlets. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, BeCoats brings executive-level culinary leadership experience and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences while mentoring the next generation of chefs.
The hotel also recently promoted two rising culinary leaders. Radames Garcia has advanced to Banquet Chef, where he oversees banquet culinary operations and plays a key role in delivering exceptional experiences for meetings, events and social functions throughout the hotel. Garcia brings a diverse culinary background and leadership experience developed through positions with Omni Hotels and several respected dining establishments.
Minh On has also been promoted to Chef de Cuisine. Since joining Omni Fort Worth Hotel in 2023, On has contributed to kitchen and operational leadership, menu execution and team development. His dedication to culinary craftsmanship, mentorship and guest satisfaction has made him an integral part of the hotel’s culinary program.
“With the addition of Cynthia and Corey, along with the well-earned promotions of Radames and Minh, we are building an extraordinary culinary leadership team,” said Michael Hiltabidel, General Manager of Omni Fort Worth Hotel. “Their combined expertise, passion and commitment to hospitality will continue to elevate the dining experiences that make Omni Fort Worth Hotel a premier destination for both visitors and locals.”
With its new culinary leadership team in place, Omni Forth Worth Hotel continues to build on its commitment to thoughtful, locally inspired dining while developing the next generation of culinary talent across the hotel’s restaurants, banquet and special event offerings.
