Amegy Bank will open its first Fort Worth office location in October. Amegy’s new Fort Worth headquarters will be in The Westbrook, a Class A office building located at 425 Houston Street on Sundance Square.

“We are excited about our new office in the heart of downtown Fort Worth,” said Fort Worth market president Brandon Bledsoe. “The Fort Worth market offers significant growth potential for Amegy, and we know our Texas-based roots, business culture and capabilities are a great fit.”

JLL secured the 8,091-square-foot office lease for the bank’s new headquarters.

JLL Vice President Jamie Galati represented Amegy Bank in the lease negotiations. Sundance Square’s Robert Gamblin represented the landlord.

“With this being their first location in the market, Amegy Bank took a very strategic approach to identifying the right location for their Fort Worth headquarters,” said Galati. “They wanted a location that provides great accessibility for their clients, an enjoyable work experience for their team members and space to accommodate plans for future growth. The Westbrook delivers everything they were looking for with a great centralized location and fantastic walkable amenities. We’re thrilled to play a role in welcoming Amegy Bank to Fort Worth.”

Amegy Bank was founded over 25 years ago by Fort Worth native, TCU alumnus and Texas Business Hall of Fame member Walter Johnson. Amegy has since grown to $13 billion in assets with over 75 locations throughout Texas.
