🕐 1 min read

Global Imaging Systems (GIS), a Xerox company, has acquired Imagetek Office Systems, a full service document solutions and services provider based in Arlington. The company, which serves the Dallas-Fort Worth area, specializes in providing customized solutions for small and medium-sized business, as well as enterprise businesses.

Terms of the agreement, announced March 16, were not disclosed.

Nina Knight will continue to serve as president of Imagetek Office Systems. “Our new partnership with GIS and Xerox expands the portfolio of technology solutions and services to help our customers work better and succeed,” said Knight. “We will continue to operate with a passion for providing high levels of outstanding and responsive service, satisfying our customers’ technology needs.”

Xerox officials said that the acquisition is part of the strategy of growing a network of locally based companies.

Adding Imagetek Office Systems to our portfolio will help bolster the Xerox presence in a very large metropolitan market with a lot of growth potential,” said Michael Pietrunti, senior vice president, acquisitions, corporate services and marketing, GIS. “
