What’s in a name? One particular Fort Worth employee benefit broker consulting firm believes it should be clarity and consistency.

That’s why the group formerly known as CSG Companies recently launched its new brand and new company name, Forté Benefits. Its managers are confident it captures the essence of their work and who they are with no shadow of a doubt.

“The new name represents what our clients have come to know about us, that we are strong and confident in the work we do and that we are built on a foundation of focused expertise, accompanied by service nothing less than exceptional,” said Forté Managing Partner Logan Dickinson.

The new company name was chosen because the word forte means “at which one excels.”

Forté Benefits also has a new tagline, “Forward thinking benefits.” It is designed to enhance the company’s strengths – responsive, intentional and successful employee benefit expertise.

“Our industry’s ever-changing landscape requires a unique, wide-angled approach to delivering the best benefit planning service available, and that is what our new tagline signifies,” said Bill Hester, company partner. “Our services are proactive, are catered to each client, and provide an element of leadership to our clients.”

Wendy Galicia has been working with CSG/ Forté for over seven years, including the past three with her current company, Imperial Construction. She sang its praises and likes the change.

“They provide the best customer service that I have come across in a broker/benefit consultant relationship in my HR career,” she said. “They are consistently attentive to our needs, are exceptional at follow-up and following through, and have a true sense of urgency.

“As a client, I was pleased to hear that they changed their name to Forté

Benefits, as it is so much more fitting for who and what they represent. When I think of Kristen [Price, senior benefit consultant], Bill [Hester] and the rest of their team, I think of strong, talented and specialized, which is exactly what Forté Benefits exemplifies.”

Forté Benefits specializes in self-funding as well as fully insured health plans for large and mid-market employers headquartered in Texas and the Southwest. It provides an array of services including insurance and benefit planning, cost management, performance reporting, compliance services, benefit technology and communications.

“We very much enjoy working with the team at Forté Benefits,” said Carolyn Hyman of Wellington Insurance Group. “We have been a client for several years now, and we appreciate the benefits expertise they bring to the table as our advisers. We like to think outside the box, and they help us do that, but are also very frank with us regarding instances in which we should stay inside the box.

“They really shine in their interactions with our employees and help our employees navigate their benefits. We are excited for them as they rebrand their organization to a brand that is a better reflection of the value they bring to their clients.”

Anita Walker of State National Companies echoed those thoughts. “They have provided excellent insight and advice on the design of our benefit programs,” she said. “They have worked hard to establish a good relationship with SNC employees and members of the HR [human resources] staff. I can’t say enough about the outstanding customer service provided by this group of people.

“This is definitely their forte. The name change reflects the strength of their business.”
