Corporate directors’ group to hold Fort Worth meeting

The National Association of Corporate Directors North Texas Chapter is hosting its first Fort Worth program of 2016, The CEO/Board Relationship, on March 23 at City Club Fort Worth. This year, NACD North Texas is bringing Fort Worth business leaders advice in corporate governance ultimately leading to efficient boardrooms that are able to accomplish more than ever before.

The association’s goal to grow its presence in North Texas now includes Fort Worth, where NACD will offer local business leaders insight on a variety of topics from global governance best practices to boardroom relationships to risk oversight.

At the March 23 event, expert panelists will share best practices regarding setting boundaries, managing discord in the boardroom, and recruiting board leaders.

Members will hear from Daniel E. Berce, president and CEO of GM International; Victor J. Boschini, Jr., chancellor at Texas Christian University; J. Paul Raines, CEO of Game Stop; and J. Scott Spiker, CEO of First Command Financial Services.

Renee Arrington, Senior Vice President at Pearson Partners International will serve as moderator. Chris Grasher, tax partner with Whitley Penn will serve as master of ceremonies.
