FORT WORTH, Texas — Nov. 5, 2026 — First Command Financial Services, Inc. was honored
today by the Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) as a Large Employer of the Year during an
award presentation in San Antonio. Nominated directly by TVC Veteran Employment Services
staff, the distinction highlights First Command’s commitment to building career pathways and
supportive workplace cultures for veterans and military families.
The annual TVC awards celebrate businesses across Texas that lead effective veteran
employment initiatives. As TVC leadership emphasized, hiring veterans is far more than a
goodwill gesture, it is a smart business practice that delivers adaptability, leadership, and
integrity to the workforce.
