Fort Worth-based firm raises over $1 billion with fund

An investment fund started by Fort Worth-based Jasper Ridge Partners has raised $1.2 billion, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Sept. 14.

Jasper Ridge, formerly known as Oak Hill Invesment Management, provides discretionary investment management services and other services for prominent families, foundations and global institutions, according to the firm’s website.

Jasper Ridge’s founding managing partners originally joined the Robert M. Bass/Oak Hill organization in 1995, began managing external capital for successful entrepreneurs in 1996 and subsequently formed Oak Hill Investment Management.

The firm manages $16.1 billion in assets, “with expertise across all major asset classes, including public equity, fixed income, hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, real estate and natural resources,” according to the website.
