Fort Worth software firm acquires Naverisk

Fort Worth-based ECi Software Solutions, a privately held provider of industry-specific business management and e-commerce software solutions, said April 2 it has acquired Naverisk Limited, the developer of a remote monitoring and management and service desk solution.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“We consider the addition of Naverisk to ECi a vital component in our efforts to further support and strengthen our service technology customers,” said Ron Books, ECi’s president and CEO. “We have identified IT services as a market that is growing rapidly, and with a large segment of our user base focused in that sector, providing a solution to support their expansion efforts is critical.”

Naverisk was launched in 2010 and today serves managed services providers and other IT service professionals in more than 20 countries, according to its founder and CEO Jon Kalaugher. Kalaugher will stay on with ECi as president of Naverisk.
