Fort Worth-based Lewis Label Products Corp. has been acquired by Fortis Solutions Group, a portfolio company of San Francisco-based Main Post Partners, the two companies announced on July 12.
Lewis Label is a custom manufacturer of pressure sensitive labels, shrink sleeves and flexible packaging products. Established in 1964, Lewis provides high quality distinctive labeling and packaging solutions to its customers across the United States.
Lewis Label CEO is former Texas House Speaker Gibson D. Lewis. According to information submitted for the 2017 Top 100 Private Company list compiled by the Fort Worth Business Press, Lewis Label reported $8 million in revenue in 2016 and has 43 employees. The company was founded in 1964. No price for the transaction was released.
“Lewis Label Products looks forward to becoming an extension of Fortis Solutions Group,” he said in a news release. “This opportunity will allow Lewis Label to reach a new and higher level for our customers.”
Virginia Beach-based Fortis Solutions employs over 400 workers across eight sites, the company intends to continue its pursuit of attractive acquisitions to further the breadth of product offerings and locations which can serve its customer base, according to the news release.
