Hanner & Associates joins Whitley Penn

**Whitley Penn** Audit Senior Manager, **Andy Hines**, was asked to give his thoughts on how technology would change the practice and where accounting is headed in a recent *Accounting Today* article. Hines shared his insight as to what he thinks will change most over the next eight to 10 years. Hines is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). He also serves as the Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee for Helping Restore Abilities, Treasurer on the Executive Board of FitWorth, is an Alumni of Leadership Fort Worth Leading Edge Class of 2017, and is on the Committee for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Annual Stair Climb event in Fort Worth.

Hanner & Associates PC has joined Whitley Penn LLP, pushing the Fort Worth-based accounting firm’s regional workforce to 300 employees and more than 400 companywide.

“This move will provide our clients access to a variety of services and industry experience along with a worldwide network of firms through Nexia International,” stated Glenn Hanner, co-founder of Bedford-based Hanner & Associates, commenting in a news release.

Hanner & Associates brings Whitley Penn experience in working with professional service providers, commercial construction companies and veterinary medicine practices. The latter specialty is new to Whitley Penn, whose managing partner lauded the addition.
