Dillon Moore has joined Balcom Agency as account coordinator, assisting on several client accounts including Sinclair Oil Corp. and Fort Worth Food + Wine Foundation.

BANKING & FINANCE

Ashley Ensley has been admitted as a partner at Dixon Hughes Goodman, a U.S. top 20 public accounting and advisory firm. Ensley will relocate to the Dallas-Fort Worth market from Asheville, North Carolina, joining Jonathan Wilke, managing partner in Fort Worth, to grow the firm’s financial services practice in Texas.

Simmons Bank has named Franklin Shirrell of Southlake as chief retail officer. Shirrell spent 22 years at Regions Financial Corp., where he most recently was executive vice president and head of consumer and business banking units in the Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin and Houston markets. Simmons owns several Texas banks, including Fort Worth’s Southwest Bank.

Shirrell will oversee retail banking operations, including recruitment, sales and customer experience across Simmons’ approximately 200 branch locations in seven states.

He is a native of Batesville, Arkansas, and a graduate of Leadership Greater Little Rock.

Ray Walker has retired as executive vice president and chief operating officer at Range Resources Corp. after 42 years in the industry. Dennis Degner, senior vice president of operations, will continue to oversee operations for both the Marcellus and North Louisiana divisions. Walker previously worked at EnCana, Sierra Engineering and Halliburton. Degner is a graduate of Texas A&M University and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and has published work on the deployment of new technologies.

GOVERNMENT

Alora M. Wachholz has joined the City of Saginaw as director of economic development. She previously was Flower Mound’s economic development manager and interim director during the largest growth cycle in the community’s history. Wachholz holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of North Texas, and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Texas State University.

Cooksey Communications recently received four Platinum and two Gold honors in the 2018 Hermes Creative Awards, an international creative competition.

LAW

Robert H. Baker has joined Kelly Hart & Hallman as an associate in the Corporate and Securities Practice Group, Austin office. Baker was previously an associate at Reed & Scardino LLP in Austin.

TECHNOLOGY

Michael Knight, senior vice president for TTI Americas, has been promoted to the new position of president of the TTI Semiconductor Group. The position includes responsibility for the recently acquired Symmetry Electronics and Changnam Electronics. Knight also has been named senior vice president of business development for TTI Inc.

The company also announced the promotion of Tom Vanderheyden, vice president for TTI sales Americas, to senior vice president, Americas sales. He will continue to support all aspects of TTI’s sales efforts in the Americas.
