Retail gasoline prices across Texas up a penny this week

COPPELL, Texas (AP) — Retail gasoline prices across Texas rose a penny this week to reach an average $2.58 per gallon.

AAA Texas reported Thursday that the nationwide tally slipped a penny to settle at $2.76 per gallon.

Dallas has the most expensive gasoline statewide at an average $2.67 per gallon. The travel group survey found Amarillo has the cheapest gasoline in Texas this week at $2.48 per gallon.

AAA experts say the national average price remained relatively steady over the past 30 days, despite regional price fluctuations due to refinery issues.
