A Seated Tasting: Wines of Languedoc France, With Pairings

There will be a seated wine tasting — featuring wines of Languedoc, France, with food pairings — Friday, Oct. 13, from 6-9 p.m. at the Grand Cru Wine Bar & Boutique in Fort Worth, located at 1257 W. Magnolia Ave.

The cost of this event is $36, before gratuity, and the tasting will be led by Ben Coyle, the

Southwest market coordinator for Flow Wine Group.

There will be two seatings, one at 6 p.m. and one at 8 p.m. and each will last just over an hour.

The wines and pairings are as follows:

— NV Comte De Galeran Blanquette de Limoux (Bubbles)

Smoked Salmon and Cucumber Canapés

— 2015 Château de la Negly, La Falaise Blanc, Languedoc-La Clape (White)

Duck Mousse with Sourdough Baguette

— 2013 Château de Paraza Cuvée Speciale Minervois (Red)

Cassoulet of White Beans, Duck, Lamb Sausage

— 2014 Château de la Liquiere Vielles Vignes, Faugères (Red)

— and 2015 Château de la Negly La Falaise Rouge, Languedoc-La Clape (Red)
