Expert-led cohorts offer industry-specific content tailored to scaling, strategy refinement
The Arlington Economic Development Corporation (EDC) is now offering a series of industry-specific small business cohorts. This free opportunity will connect Arlington-based small businesses to subject matter experts through programming that directly addresses the challenges and opportunities in their sector.
The Industry-Specific Small Business Cohort will focus on scaling, sustainability and strategy refinement, giving businesses insight beyond startup basics. Current cohort industries include Professional Services (September 2025), Construction & Trades (October 2025), and Food & Beverage (March 2026).
“At the Arlington EDC, we are committed to empowering small businesses with the tools, knowledge and connections they need to thrive. This program, alongside our other initiatives, is designed to provide local businesses in Arlington with unmatched support as they scale and grow,” said Kay Brown-Patrick, assistant executive director of the Arlington EDC.
“With access to expert guidance, industry insights and valuable networking opportunities, our businesses will be among the best positioned in the region to succeed,” she said.
Topics covered in the first cohort include understanding the professional services market, legal compliance, marketing, client acquisition, business expansion and strategic planning.
