A new Beef Jerky Outlet will celebrate its grand opening at Montgomery Plaza in Fort Worth on March 19.
“Beef jerky is the latest food craze with Americans craving high protein, low fat snacks,” said Steve Zettler, owner of the Beef Jerky Outlet at Montgomery Plaza. “We are really looking forward to providing a different selection of the popular snack to people in our community and those just shopping in the area.”
Sales of beef jerky jumped 46 percent from 2009-2015. The Fort Worth store specializes in more than 200 jerky varieties and sizes, including specialty meats such as kangaroo, alligator, venison and elk with exotic flavors ranging from Moonshine to Cajun.
As part of the grand opening, 10 percent of the proceeds from the celebration will be donated to the University of North Texas Health and Science Center Day Care.
