Bicyclist found dead on shoulder of Fort Worth road

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — Authorities say a 34-year-old bicyclist was found dead on the shoulder of a Fort Worth road.

The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office says Jacob Waganer was pronounced dead at the scene early Saturday morning.

Police were dispatched to the scene because of an accident. The medical examiner’s report indicated a motorist had left the scene.

The medical examiner’s office says Waganer died from blunt force injuries to his head and neck, but the manner of death was pending.

Police did not immediately respond to inquiries for more information early Monday morning.
